Aviva Meters by Accu-Chek

Blood Glucose testing with the Accu-Chek Aviva Glucose Meter. Manufactured in the USA for diabetics. There are many name brands to choose from these days. Ascensia, One Touch, Roche, Freestyle or CVS brand glucose meters are some that you will see frequently, along with their test strips and various offers to buy at discounted prices. I have found, there is rarely any savings if you replace a quality glucose meter with a cheaper glucose meter device. There are factors that come into play, like test strip costs and if the test strips are accurate or have frequent errors. There are a few test strips that are half the cost, but they are less accurate and more prone to error reading. This causes more testing and more pain wile doing a single blood glucose test. Your safest bet is to stick with the Accu-Chek Aviva Meters and test strips, as they have proven reliability and less errors on testing. Not to mention all the other amazing features. You don't have to take it from us, if you do a search on Accu-Chek Aviva Meters, Compare Aviva Meters or any search like this, you will likely find the Aviva is rated high in almost every comparison or review site, if not all.

The Aviva Glucose Meter requires only a minimal blood glucose sample size of 0.6 µL and returns accurate results within 5 seconds. The time not always accounted for in the results timing is the time it takes to apply the blood sample and the time that sample is absorbed into the strip before the glucose meter starts processing the data. The Accu-Chek Aviva is one of the fastest at this stage. With wide mouth strips and a contrasting color range at strip port, applying the sample is easy to find and do; making that step as fast and convenient as possible. On top of it, there is a capilary action that gets the sample to the electrodes almost instantly once the blood sample is applied. These electrodes consist of 8, more than standard test strips giving a better accuracy and a more reliable test result.

Also available with the Accu-Chek Aviva Glucose Meter is the Multiclix Lancing Device. This lancing device allows for regular finger testing and alternate site testing (AST). The Multiclix has 11 settings to insure that you have the most comfortable testing experience possible.

The Accu-Chek Aviva system was awarded the Arthritis Foundation's Ease Of Use commendation and is the first complete system to do so.
